Meet The Team


Inspirations has been working in close partnership with The Civica Group, an international market leader in specialist IT systems and business process services for the public sector, since 2005. At the core of Civica's business is their Academy which provides a programme of training and development from new starters to senior executives. The Academy focuses on transforming Civica's leaders and managers through its 4 stage Raising the Bar Programme, equipping its sales force through its Top Gear Programme and developing its customer facing employees through its Customer First Programme. The Academy has created a high performance culture within Civica where people feel motivated to deliver and consequently this has created the foundation to achieve IIP Gold standard and gain the One to Watch in the Times BEST companies to work for.

Menzies Distribution

The newspaper and magazine company Menzies Distribution has worked in partnership with Inspirations since 2009, developing managers and leaders throughout the business. Inspirations were initially asked to work with Menzies to design Aspire, an inspirational development programme with a vision of accelerating the growth of managers who already demonstrated success in their current role and had the desire to maximise their potential. The programme involved a series of two day workshops covering a wide variety of management topics, some of which provided tough challenges and new ways of thinking. A blended approach enabled Inspirations to support workshops with 360 feedback and one to one coaching. The result a more capable and confident top team, with over 70% of attendees benefitting from internal promotion and career progression following the programme.


Sainsbury's Logistics wanted to move away from being a task - focused business, to one where it truly was a great place to work. They wanted to retain their brightest and best people for the long term. Inspirations were asked to work with Sainsbury's Logistics to design and develop a creative and innovative career pathway based on blended learning for their selected 350 plus managers from the supply chain management population. A suite of 4 Programmes each sponsored by a Senior Director was creatively launched to its target audience.

Stonegate Pub Company

The pub and restaurant chain Stonegate had a keen focus on the development of managers within it's operations and aspired to move towards a coaching culture to nurture talent. We were asked to work with them to create a "dynamic and inspiring programme" for the managers at all levels within the business. Our role was to work initially with their senior managers to observe and understand the current processes, then to help the whole management team adopt a consistent, coaching approach through a series of workshops. The measured results have been dramatic - through greater involvement of teams in commercial decisions, greater ownership of targets, reported positive feedback from teams as well as increased staff engagement and internal progression.
